The shelter environnment is hard for this boy, and he's showing it through overarousal and frustration while in the play yards. He has started exhibiting jumpy and mouthy behavior--including grabbing at clothing when he gets overly excited. Chili has been a very social boy and enjoys hanging out with people and going for walks. When he first arrived he was much more relaxed, the chaotic, unpredictable environment is proving to be too much for him and we think he would be best in a home that understands he needs a bit of time to decompress to show his true self.

UPDATE 12/24 - From one of our veterinarians: This lovely boy has inflamed feet with secondary infetion, possibly allergies. Needs to be given oral medication and foot spray. He will need to come in for recheck in 1 week.
