Meet Sapphie, one of the sweetest and easiest Huskies ever!

Despite recovering from an injury, she’s been incredibly well-behaved and calm in her foster home.
Sapphie loves being near her people - whether that means following you around the house or picking a favorite spot to nap while you go about your day. She’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when getting pets and cuddles (and giving kisses).

She does wonderfully with children. She’s been around a 10-year-old and has been nothing but sweet and gentle. She has also seen the resident cats a few times and, while she’s shown some curiosity, she mostly seems a bit timid around them. With slow introductions, she has the potential to adapt well. She does well in her crate and settles in easily. She has also done well outside of the crate in her foster home. She’s very receptive to direction and picks up on cues quickly.
Sapphie can be a little hesitant in new situations or around loud noises, but she warms up with reassurance and has shown no aggression. With time, love, and positive experiences, her confidence will only continue to grow.

She isn’t very interested in toys at the moment - she’d much rather spend time with you - but she’s sure to blossom more as she continues to heal and feel secure. Maybe a fun shopping trip to the pet store will allow her to pick some new favorite items!
