Rescue or experienced adopter needed for spicy but gorgeous 4 year old Shatzi! ? ? Shatzi is a Skye terrier who arrived at the shelter as a stray back in April. The folks who found her reported she was great, but seemed to be snappy around food and when picking her up to get into the car.? ? We were hopeful that a home environment would help her decompress and get used to people, but unfortunately after being adopted for a week, she was returned for being bitey - however she also enjoyed cuddling (on her terms!) and going outside to play!? ? We think Shatzi needs some help learning manners and finding a home where she can learn appropriate behavior with people. Here at the shelter, she does growl at first when we enter her kennel, but allows for leashing, short walks, and hanging out in the yard. She is currently kenneled with other dogs! Sadly, the shelter is a stressful environment and we are not able to work on her behaviors.? ?
