Bella is on our 'Call to Action' list as she has been exhibiting fearful/defensive behaviors. Bella has been at the shelter quite a few times, and while we've been working really hard on making friends, Bella still is untrusting, difficult to leash, and avoidant of any handling. She has successfully interacted with dogs in playgroup, but mostly slunk away from the other dogs and was fearful of both dogs and humans in the yard. We are trying to help her feel more comfortable, but the shelter is scary and she would likely be able to make better progress in a quieter home.
