At Ventura County Animal Services, transparency is a core value. This section provides statistics on the thousands of animals entering our shelters each year.

We publish two reports each month:

• Asilomar Report – Tracks intake and outcome data for dogs and cats, including an average live release rate.
• Monthly Report – A one-page summary with additional metrics on shelter operations and programs.
