VCAS Field Officers are on duty 24 hours-per-day, 365 days-a-year. Should you need the assistance of an officer in the\u00a0late evening\u00a0or\u00a0very early morning when we are closed, call\u00a0805-388-4341<\/strong>\u00a0and select “OPTION 4<\/strong>“. \u00a0If you found a lost pet that you brought home and\u00a0are<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0able to care for them until we open the next morning, please do so. \u00a0If the animal appears sick or injured, immediately call us for pick-up.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  1. Quarantine of animals who have bitten a human.<\/li>
  2. Picking up stray dogs.<\/li>
  3. Reuniting lost pets with their owners<\/li>
