When Twix arrived at the shelter he was fearful and very defensive, making handling difficult for staff and volunteers. A dedicated team of volunteers have been spending time with him, and Twix has been enjoying walks, treats, chasing a ball in the yard, and solving puzzle toys. We are still learning more about Twix's behavior, but we know he would appreciate a patient home where he can decompress. He may prefer to meet new people slowly is reported to have done well with other animals in a past home.
