Like his namesake, Phelps is a multi-time gold medalist - because he's won our hearts! He will ask for cuddles, belly rubs, and treats very politely. He is making great progress when it comes to leash manners and will look up at you to check in for reassurance. Phelps also did great in the car on a recent trip to get a pup cup with a volunteer. The shelter is tough for Phelps, because he doesn't get out enough to get all his energy out 🙁 He needs a home with a loving family he can bond with! Give him a little time to relax and he is certain to be a loyal, caring companion.
